Margie’s History
Margie Hann-Syme has always been immersed in observing people’s behaviour, and ever intrigued with the mental, emotional and kinetic effects of our interactions with each other and the planet. She is an award-winning children’s author and scriptwriter of adult drama. A ‘mature-aged student’ for 7 years in the 1980s, she earned her BA (Hons), majoring in Sociology & Women’s Studies, with supportive electives in Multiculturalism and Environmentalism.
Drawing on her intuitive gifts to create words and pictures, Margie’s hand-drawn mandalas are designed to ease all manner of emotions, states of mind and ways of being. She continues to discover, and is amazed by, the extraordinary methods of tuning in and trusting the guiding nature of this influential work. The transformative power of each mandala comes from the known and unknown conductive energies of water, light, colour and sound. Since attending the Deepening Course at Oneness University, India, March, 2012 her deeksha blessings have intensified, as have her personalised mandala sessions.
She has visited Indigenous communities in far northwest South Australia, participating in Pipalatjara women’s visits to Adelaide as a videologist as well as years of filming social and historic occasions (and her mother’s highly-prized art tutorials). Margie has resumed her love of travelling, communicating and self-discovery.

Margie exercises her natural affinity to connect with people of all ages and from all walks of life. Keen interest in the experiences of immigrants and refugees and the manipulation of local councils led to a few years of grassroots political activism.
Her lifelong empathic, altruistic nature, ‘fair go for all’, honesty, courage and compassion continues to flourish and expand – as is her quest for meaning and common-sense within spiritual phenomena.
