About the artist

Since childhood, Margie Hann Syme has been immersed in observing people’s behaviour, and curious about the psychological and emotional effects of our interaction with each other and the planet. She is an award-winning children's author and script writer for adult drama.

Margie has drawn on her art training and intuitive gifts to refine her skills as a designer of mandalas. Early on, she discovered the bliss of tuning in and accepting the mysteries of Energy and more of who she is and why she’s on Earth!

In her early 20s, she travelled parts of the globe before entering family life with Trevor and the Kids. She took on the mantle of mature-aged student at Flinders University of South Australia for 7 years and majored in Sociology (Honours) and Women’s Studies, and supported by Multiculturalism and Environmentalism.

As part of this, she visited Indigenous communities in far northwest South Australia, participating in Pipalatjara women’s visits to Adelaide as a videologist as well as years of filming other social and historic occasions.

Powered by people

Margie continually exercises her natural affinity to connect with people of all ages and from all walks of life. Keen interest in the experiences of immigrants and refugees and the manipulation of local councils led to a few years of grassroots political activism.

Her lifelong empathic, altruistic nature, ‘fair go for all’, honesty and compassion flourishes and expands - as the search for meaning and commonsense in spiritual debate continues.

Through this search, her mandalas continue to inspire and energise her – and those who receive them.
